Shuttle Launch Delayed

The launch of the space shuttle Atlantis has been delayed.

Early Wednesday morning NASA said it has delayed the launch by at least

24 hours because of a fuel cell problem.

Atlantis was supposed to launch from Kennedy Space center in Florida this afternoon.

NASA says it hopes to launch the shuttle on Thursday.

Atlantis was supposed to launch August 27th but that was put off

by a lightning strike, then the approach of Tropical Storm Ernesto.

The shuttle is to carry two girders that are crucial to the

construction of the international space station.
