JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - Prosecution testimony continues today in Jackson in the murder trial of a man accused of fatally shooting three people in a state Transportation Department garage. \
On the opening day of the trial Wednesday, 15 people took the stand. Seven of them identified David Lynn Jordan as the man who opened fire, killing his wife, Donna Renee Jordan; Forestry Division employee Jerry Hopper; and deliver service manager David Gordon in January 2005.
The last two witnesses Wednesday were two T-DOT employees who were wounded in the shooting -- James Goff and Larry Taylor. They testified in detail about the wounds they and other victims suffered from gunshots.
Witness Johnny Emerson testified he and Donna Jordan were co-workers who developed what he called a "special relationship" that included hugging and kissing and talking a lot.
Emerson said David Jordan confronted him about it a week before the shooting and Emerson ended it.
