Ole Miss Offense Fizzlies In Rain

The weather wreaked havoc down in Oxford, delaying the Ole Miss game for over an hour. When they finally kicked off, the Rebels might as well have stayed in the locker room.  Hosting undefeated Wake Forest from the ACC, the Rebels could get nothing going offensively and lost 27-3.

Brent Schaeffer completed just 13 of 30 passes. He was picked off in the 4th quarter by Patrick Ghee, that would lead to a game icing touchdown. The Deamon Deacons kept pounding the ball on the Ole Miss defense, gaining 240 yards on the ground and scoring 3 touchdowns. Kevin Harris' 4 yard plunge in the 3rd quarter made it 20-3.

Ole Miss drops to 1-3 on the season with a dismal 27-3 loss to Wake Forest.
