Grizzlies Need Work before Next Exhibition

Now to the NBA where for Practice to Make Perfect...the Memphis Grizzlies need to spend a lot of time working on their game before their next public exhibition this weekend.

The Grizzlies fumbled away 10-first quarter turnovers in route to getting blown out by the Atlanta Hawks last night at FedExForum 108-to-91.

The early miscues led Memphis to try and dig its way out of an early 20-point deficit for the second straight pre-season game..

A large part is due to youth, with first round draft picks Rudy Gay and Kyle Lowry put in key ball handling situations.

Gay says it's all about learning... It's all about helping teammates.. It's all about playing smart, NBA basketball, which he and the newcomers are all learning how to do.

The Grizzlies next host the Detroit Pistons, Saturday night at FedExForum.
