New this week on DVD

One of the year's biggest box office hits come to home video and DVD this week.  "Cars" stars Owen Wilson, Bonnie Hunt and Larry the Cable Guy. It's the tale of a hotshot race car who's brought down to Earth when he's stranded in an almost deserted town just before his big race.

With the newest James Bond about to make his debut, the 20 previous James Bond films are all being reissued in what are labeled 'ultimate editions'.  It's four separate sets with five films each....they're all restored and remastered with optimized sound and lots of bonus
features.  The first two sets release this week....the next two sets December 12.

Bloopers from the gang at "Mash" are among the bonus features you'll get if you take the plunge and buy the entire series set.   From the very first episode back in 1972, to the last one 11 years later you'll get every episode in between, along with the feature film that started it all.  36, yes 36, discs in this set.

The last days of the Bartlett administration play out in the final season of "The West Wing".  Season seven offers up 22 episodes as Jimmy Smits and Alan Alda battle it out to become Martin Sheen's successor.

Also new...Shannen Doherty and Jason Priestly on the 90's primetime soap "Beverly Hills 90210".   Both it, and its spinoff show "Melrose Place" are hitting DVD for the first time this week.  You can get both in one set called "The Good, the Bad and the Beautiful".
