NBA Commissioner In Memphis talks Sale of Grizzlies

The commissioner of the NBA was in Memphis Wednesday.  David Stern told Action News 5's Jarvis Greer there are no new news on the proposed sale of the team to a group led by former NBA Players Brian Davis and Christian Laettner.

Stern said the group's bid is incomplete, but nothing more can be said.  According to Stern, the NBA will review the bid once it is finalized, whenever that may be.

Stern also said he was pleased with how Memphis has accepted the Grizzlies and the NBA.  Stern said the corporate support is phenomenal and fan support has been great, despite the team's losing record and the loss of its' All-Star, Pau Gasol, to injury for most of this season.

The commissioner was also very complimentary of FedExForum, calling it one of the best arenas in the league.
