Turnovers Hurt Vols At Outback Bowl

TAMPA, Fla.(AP) - With Joe Paterno watching from the press box, Penn State upset number-17 Tennessee 20-to-10 in the Outback Bowl. The Nittany Lions' 80-year-old coach is still recovering from leg injuries suffered November fourth when he got wiped out on the sidelines by a couple of players. Tony Hunt rushed for 158 yards and Tony Davis returned an interception 86 yards for a touchdown as Penn State finished the season 9-and-4. The Nittany Lions are now 16-and-6 in New Year's Day bowls under Paterno. Tennessee was hurt by three turnovers and also finished 9-and-4.
