Grizzlies Miller to NBA's 3-Point Shootout

A lot has gone wrong with the Memphis Grizzlies this season...from Pau Gasol's injury, to a botched team less than desirable performances on the court and at the gate..

But, there have been a few individual bright spots, and Hot Shooting guard Mike Miller provides the latest..

Thursday the NBA announced the much anticipated invitation of Miller to the Leagues' 3-point shootout contest.

It'll be held Saturday, February 17th, as part of the League's All-Star Weekend in Las Vegas.

Miller ranks first in the NBA in 3-pointers made, and second in attemps..

He's 10th in 3-point accuracy at 43%.

Miller owns Grizzlies Franchise records for 3-pointer made in a season at 150...and consecutive games at 27.

He hit a career high 9-triples against Golden State January 3rd.

This is the second time Miller will compete in the 3-point shootout.

He also took part in 2002 with the Orlando Magic.

Miller will shoot against Defending Champion Dirk Nowitzke, and Jason Terry of Dallas, along with Washingtons' Gilbert Arenas, The Cavs Damon Jones, and Miami Heat forward Jason Kapono.
