YOUR TURN: Deborah Williams says it's no time to criticize Virginia Tech

This week's Your Turn segment goes to Deborah C. Williams

Williams wrote to offer her prayers for the people who were touched by the Virginia Tech tragedy.

She's disappointed with those who are second guessing the way this situation was handled by the University.

In her words:

I am upset that the public and the media have jumped on the Virginia Tech President and the Campus Police in the "Blame Game." Someone answer this question for me -- how do you plan for a mass murder at a US college? How can we plan for something of this magnitude that has never happened before? Do people not know that the university officials were probably doing the best they knew to do at the time?

Williams also asked for God's blessing for all who have been touched by this tragedy.

That's Deborah Williams' turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email or call 800-465-1210.
