YOUR TURN: Leon Gray doesn't like what's going on in Memphis City Government

This week's Your Turn segment goes to Leon Gray.

Gray wrote to say that he doesn't like what's going on currently in Memphis city government, but he also offered this reminder. The city's leaders are elected officials.

In his words:

We don't live in Mayberry. Memphis and Shelby County's population is well over a million people. Surely there are some qualified citizens among us who want the opportunity to serve in government and do it with integrity. So let's elect them, but keep in mind that's the only way they get to serve is if we elect them.

That's Leon Gray's turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email yourturn@wmctv.com or call 800-465-1210.
