Herman Morris says MLGW "nest for gangster managers"

Herman Morris says he is the key to getting MLGW back on track. Today's claims come after last week's double lights out resignations.

Herman Morris said despite Mayor Willie Herenton's accusations, MLGW was efficient and did not have any problems when he was in charge.

He claimed the books were sound and the rates were reasonable. Morris said the problems today are Mayor Herenton's fault.

"The sad truth is the current administration under Mayor Herenton has nearly destroyed that fine organization. First, he tried to sell it and next he tried to destroy it by making it a nest for cryonism and gangster managers," says Morris.

Morris is running for Memphis Mayor and claims if he is elected he will change MLGW for the better.
