The summer of 1975, late July, I took my mother to a new theme park (going to market) that had just opened.
As we were leaving one exhibition, Dave Brown was holding the door for his very pregnant wife. She had on a mini maternity dress and she looked radiant.
Dave just waited for us to exit, also, and gave us a big smile.
That day also stands out because that was the last day I spent with my mother. She went into the hospital for elective surgery and died because of it.
She was so thrilled to see Dave and I will never forget his wife, great with child, and how cute she was in that maternity mini dress.
