Milan cops investigating possible homicide

JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - Police in Milan are investigating the discovery of a man's body as a homicide.

The unidentified while male body was found in a field behind a business. Police say the man had been shot twice.

City police Commander Bobby Sellers says investigators think they know whose body the remains are, but are awaiting autopsy results from Nashville. Members of the family were interviewed yesterday.

People who live near the field found the body on Friday. Police believe it had been there for about five days.
