MANCHESTER, Tenn. (AP) - It will probably be several weeks before medical examiners determine why a man died at the Bonnaroo Music Festival on Friday, authorities said.
The Coffee County sheriff's department identified the man as 25-year-old Cody L. Conover of Lancaster, Ky. Sheriff's department officials said the man was taken to the United Regional Hospital in Manchester at about 11 a.m. Friday with no visible signs of trauma.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Investigators said they are looking into both drugs and heat as possible causes of death.
The body was taken to the state medical examiner's office in Nashville for an autopsy.
Now in its sixth year, this is the sixth death at the festival, which is held on a 700-acre farm. All 80,000 tickets were sold.
