The rain was everywhere in the Memphis area earlier this evening...except the Memphis Motorsports Park. That's because the Nascar Craftsman Trucks are here and there's no way the race it getting rained out!!!!!! Every truck sported a tribute decal to Bobby Hamilton for the O'Reilly 200. This the 10th anniversary of the race in Memphis. Despite threatening weather, the crowd was large.
23 year old Brad Kesolowski on the pole, but not for long. Off a re-start old pro Ron Hornaday nudged him out of the way on lap 20 and takes the lead. Pretty clean race until lap 113 when Willie Allen bumped Ken Butler in turn 2 and he smacked the inside retaining wall hard. Fortunately he was able to get out of the truck on his own power. 9 laps to go with pole sitter Kesolowski back in the lead but Travis Kvapil spins him out of the way...and Kvapil takes the checkered flag for the 2nd time in Memphis. Last year's winner Jack Sprague is 2nd...Ron Hornaday 3rd.
