Memphis Grizzlies General Manager Chris Wallace has been scouring the World looking for Free Agents..
One may just show up on his doorstep, but not because of basketball..
Former Utah Jazz Guard Derek Fisher says he's considering Memphis as one of the places he'd like to continue his career..
It's because the City has St. Jude Childrens' Research Hospital..
One of the few facilities in the world set up to treat his ailing daughter, who has retinoblastoma...a cancerous tumor in her left eye.
Fisher, who starred collegiately at Arkansas Little-Rock, asked for and received a release from the Jazz to find help for his ailing child.
"We've already started interviews with the doctors and different hospitals and locations. Right now basketball is not a priority.. I don't want to retire. But, Tatum medically, the pursuit of her cure is first and foremost."
Before going to Utah, Fisher played 8-seasons with the Lakers and has 2 titles to his credit..
A move here would give the Grizzlies a glut at the point guard spot with 4..but someone of his leadership and playing ability might be worth making a space for.
