Roberts In 2nd At Senior U.S. Open

It only gets better with age for Germantown's Loren Roberts. He's in contention for another major on the Champion's tour.   It's the Senior US Open at Whistling Straights. Roberts is trying to add to his Senior British Open trophy from last year. A 20 foot birdie putt on 14 got him to 6 under par and a share of the lead.

But on the par 3, 17th he pulled it left and finds a bunker. But it gets worse. The ball was plugged and in awkward position so he has to take a drop and would make a double bogey. Roberts carded a 1 over 73, good for 2nd place just 3 strokes behind Tom Watson, at 7 under par. You can see the final round Sunday afternoon right here on TV 5.
