Grizzlies Guards Look Good But Lose

With every passing game in the summer league, the Grizzlies new guard tandem becomes more intriguing. The future is looking very bright for Kyle Lowry and Mike Conley Jr. indeeed.  The Grizzlies took on the Detroit Pistons in their 2nd summer league game Monday night.  Lowry had a tremdnous drive in the 2nd quarter, going high off the glass for the bucket and drawing a foul! He had a team high 23 points and 1 assist. Just before half, Conley made his move dishing to Tarence Kinsey for a mini opp...Conley had 8 points and 3 assists.

But Rodney Stuckey took it to the Grizz for the tune of 27 large and the Grizzlies lose a close one 80-78. Alexander Johnson was aggressive in the first half with a couple dunks and finished with 9 points.  They have a few days off now before taking on Cleveland Thursday.
