Grizzlies Release Johnson, Kinsey Hurt

The Grizzlies released 2nd year man Alexander Johnson Friday to make room for free agent signee Darko Milicic. AJ appeared in 59 games for the Grizzlies last year averaging 4 points and 3 rebounds per game.

Tarence Kinsey was the find of the year in the NBA last season. He suffered a painful injury in Friday's game against the Clippers.  He fouled on the 3 attempt by Amara Sy and got wacked pretty good. Kinsey stayed down for a awhile, initially it looked like a separated shoulder but the teams says its just a bruised shoulder and he's day to day. The Grizz went on to lose 90-84 to the Clippers.  They're now 2-2 in the Summer League action.
