President Bush visits Nashville, speaks to business leaders

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - President Bush is speaking to Nashville-area business leaders, during his visit to the Tennessee capital city.

He talked of his tour of the Tennessee Bun Company this morning.

Speaking at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, Bush said he enjoys visiting small businesses because those are the companies that drive the nation's economy.

He said when small business is prospering, the nation is in good economic health.

He spotted military personnel at the meeting and thanked them for serving their country.

Among them was Sergeant Kevin Downs of Kingston Springs, who lost both legs and suffered critical burns when a roadside bomb exploded in Iraq.
