Fmr. Shelby County Commissioner reports to prison

Former Shelby County Commissioner Michael Hooks Senior is settling in for his first night in prison.

Hooks Senior pleaded guilty to bribery charges in connection with the Tennessee Waltz corruption scandal.

He reported to the prison at Maxwell Air Force Base near Montgomery, Alabama Friday.

Hooks Senior says he needs a knee replacement surgery and there is a medical facility on that base.

Meanwhile, Michael Hooks Junior's trial is set for December 3rd. He' accused of embezzling more than $60,000 from the Shelby County Juvenile Court Clerk's Office then lying about it to the FBI.

Hooks Junior pleaded not guilty last June.
