Members of Mid-South fraternity taking back their neighborhood

Members of one Mid-South fraternity are spending the weekend taking back their neighborhoods by focusing on young people.

Omegafest 2007 is hosted by members of Omega Psi Phi in Memphis. It's a two day event featuring workshops on goal setting, discipline, and anti-gang lifestyles.

Organizers say they hope the young people walk away feeling empowered.

"We as role models, that's the whole idea that they can see, touch and feel. That we can share our experiences with them and that they can relate to us as children at one time and of course as adults now," says Fraternity member Earl Young.

Omegafest continues Sunday with health education and a three on three basketball tournament.
