Roberts 4th At Sr. British Open

The Champions Tour has been good to Germantowns Loren Roberts. He has a couple majors to his credit in less than 2 years on the senior circuit, and he seems to always be in contention. The defending Senior British Open champ made some nosie again this year across the pond.   He came in 7 strokes off the lead, but with birdies at 17 and 18, he posted an even par 71 to finish tied for 4th at plus 4.

Roberts finished three strokes behind Tom Watson who won despite double bogeying 18. He finshed plus 1, a stroke better than Stewart Ginn and Mark O'Meara.
