Scientists in Germany are learning what many in the Mid-South already know: Justin Timberlake can make some mood music.
The British newspaper "The Independent" reported this week that German scientists are playing tunes from a number of artists in an attempt to coerce captive sharks into breeding.
The newspaper said captive Zebra sharks were seen to be "courting each other heavily" while listening to the Timberlake tune "Rock Your Body."
The sharks apparently also enjoyed songs by Salt-N-Pepa and Joe Cocker, leaving eggs behind after listening to the music for hours.
The sharks did not have a strong reaction to music by Brittany Spears.
