Tigers Getting Tougher Up Front

With just 2-weeks left till Kickoff of the College Football season...scrimmages are coming hard and fast now for the Memphis Tigers..

After postponing Full Scale Head knocking for most of fall camp, the Tigers will have their second scrimmage in two days tomorrow morning about 10 o'clock at the Liberty Bowl.

U of M Coach Tommy West had complained about his teams' lack of physicality..but eased up on his criticism after watching yesterdays' performance by the offensive line..

Tiger Quarterback Martin Hankins says he feels well protected.

"We've got not only some big guys up front, but some veteran guys now.. Our O-Line is mostly Juniors and Seniors. These guys know what they doing and are ready to make the most of it."

After Saturdays' scrimmage, Tigers Coach Tommy West says he'll start zeroing in on who'll be ready to play in Season Opener September first against Ole Miss at the Liberty Bowl
