Quarterbacks Problems Continue at Ole Miss

School has already started Down in Oxford for the Ole Miss Rebels ...

But while the players get there lessons on, and off the field..Coach Ed Orgeron will spend even more time in Study Hall, trying to figure out who will play quarterback..

After what he called another lackluster scrimmage under center Saturday, Coach O says it's still up in the air between Sr Seth Adams of Holly Springs, and Redshirt Freshman Michael Herrick.

A former Walkon, Adams says he's ready for the job..while last years' starter, Brent Schaeffer, continues to be the third man out.

  Adams remains confident.

"I want to be the starter so that's how approach everyday. I have to keep working hard and competing and not let my guard down. "

Coach Orgeron is giving Schaeffer every chance to compete.

"Brent had the shot given to him last year and I've said before that was a mistake. Does he have the talent to be great yes. But does he have the makeup, what it takes to be a great one, that remains to be seen."

Schaeffer had that bomb in Saturday's scrimmage but seems a long shot to start the season.

The Rebels open against the Tigers September 1st in the Liberty Bowl.
