The Jerrell Powe saga continues at Ole Miss...but, the final chapter is about to be written.
The NCAA requested additional information from the Attorney for the Rebels Defensive Tackle, delaying a decision on his eligibility.
If the NCAA gets the information by Monday, a decision WOULD BE MADE on Powe's academic eligibility in time for him to play in the season opener against Memphis September First.
Powe, who, according to his attorney is learning disabled, has been working to become eligible for 2-years.
He's practiced with the team this summer while the NCAA Clearinghouse hears his case.
Powe's attorney says he's allowed to keep working out with the Rebels even though his practice window closed Wednesday.
