Fulmer Gives Back to UT/Hopes Ainge can Take Snaps vs Cal

Tennessee Head Coach Phil Fulmer feels one good investment deserves another.

After spending 30-years at the University as a Player, assistant, and Head Coach, Fulmer, and his wife Vickie, are committing $1-Million Dollars to the school...among the largest gifts ever by a coach and family to UT.

It's for the Campaign for Tennessee, and will be split equally between academics and athletics.

Fulmer begins his 15th season as head of the Volunteers when UT plays at Cal Saturday.

Fulmer hopes to have his top quarterback under center at Kickoff..

He says Senior Erik Ainge jammed a finger taking a snap Monday night at practice and is very sore...

The Davey O'Brien Candidate is among the best signal calllers in the nation.

If Ainge can't go, Fulmer says he's very comfortable with backup Jonathan Crompton starting off against the Golden Bears.
