Ankiel Tagged for HGH Before MLB Ban

Everybody's favorite Cinderella story in Major League Baseball now may have a tainted lining..

Comeback Kid Rick Ankiel, the former Memphis Redbird now Starring with the St. Louis Cardinals, received a year supply of Human Growth Hormone, known as HGH in 2004.

He's the latest athlete to be linked to the Florida Pharmacy at the center of an investigation into illegal performance enhancing drugs.

Ankiel may get a break, because Major League Baseball didn't test for it until 2005.

Players using it after that date could be suspended up to 50-games.

A Newspaper Report says the pharmacy also shipped HGH to ex big league pitcher Steve Woodard.

He and Ankiel were teammates with the Memphis Redbirds in 2004.
