Tipton Co. investigators arrest suspect in weekend shooting

Tipton County investigators arrested a man in a weekend shooting at a club. The shooting happened Saturday at the Farm Club on Highway 51 in Covington.

Tipton County Sheriff's investigators charged Andrew Harville with first degree murder and criminal trespassing.

The Farm Club parking lot was empty. But investigators say Harville gunned down employee Kelvin Rodgers Saturday night.

Witnesses told police Rodgers kicked Harville out of the club because of a disturbance.

He then waited, according to police, for Rodgers to leave the building and shot him with a shotgun.

After the shooting, police say Harville took off in his car. Covington police quickly found the car, pulled Harville over and arrested him.

He will appear later this week for arraignment. This was Tipton County's second murder of the year.
