Not many College Football coaches have a more daunting task this week than prepairing to play the third ranked team in the Nation...
But, that's the task facing Ole Miss Head Coach Ed Orgeron...and he may have to do it without his top gun at Quarterback..
Rebels Starter Seth Adams injured his shoulder in the 4th quarter last weekend in the loss at Vanderbilt..
He had to take himself out of the game...
That opened the door for Brent Schaeffer to get out of the Dog House and onto the field..
Schaeffer, who lost his starting job to the former walkon, promptly threw a 54 yard Touchdown pass to Mike Wallace..
But Schaeffers' re-emergence only gets him back in the picture..
Coach O says he's still got to win the job.
"Seth won't practice most of the week. We'll try Brent, and take a look at (michael) Henig. Brent will probably be the starter but he has to have a good week of practice. His consistency has gotten a lot better and he's been pretty good so far."
Schaeffer will have to be a quick study..
The Rebels face the #3 Florida Gaters Saturday Morning 11:30 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
