As the Tigers mourn the tragic death of teammate Taylor Bradford, part of their grieving process will include playing Marshall tomorrow night at the Liberty Bowl.
Head coach Tommy West was near tears during his news conference this afternoon when talking about Bradford.
The 300 pound defensive lineman was, by all accounts, a happy-go-lucky guy who was well liked by those who knew him.
While the police search for his killer, the team will go about the business of football....in honor of their fallen teammate.
Head Coach Tommy West :
"We met as a team and talked to the players and as a man they wanted to play the game."
Defensive Lineman Clinton McDonald:
"It's really tough right now especially with all we've been through recently but we just have to pray to get through this. >
Linebacker Corderic Govan:
"Who would do something like this, to not have a conscious. Juts turn yourself in. Do the right thing and turn yourself in."
The Tigers did not practice Monday, but will hold a walk through early Tuesday at the Liberty Bowl.
Kickoff is set for 7pm at the stadium against Marsall.
