The AutoZone Liberty Bowl Game continues to make good on its' partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The Liberty Bowl presented a check to the Hospital today for more than $135, thousand Dollars.
The money comes from the Liberty Bowl's annual Golf Tournament.
Even though St. Jude's operating budget is more than a $million Dollars a day, ALSAC Chief Executive Officer John Moses says the donation is more than a drop in the bucket.
"This entire campus and all the things we do come by benefit of the average donation of $25.09. That's the average donation. So we are thrilled to have this $135,000 to continue our mission."
Adds Liberty Bowl Executive Director Steve Ehrhart:
"It's great we've been able to keep increasing our donation every year and this year we've given a bit more money."
The $135, 114 Dollars Check is the Largest donation in the 13-year history of the Liberty Bowl Golf Classic.
The 2007 AutoZone Liberty Bowl Game is set for Saturday, December 29th at 3:30pm.
