Teen charged in home robbery in which power was cut

LITTLE ROCK (AP) - A teenager has been charged with a home robbery in Little Rock in which the electricity was first cut off, and he is suspected in another similar robbery.

Eighteen-year-old Kaylon Carrothers is charged with turning off the power to a home in the Hillcrest neighborhood before going in and stealing a TV.

Police say he wore a mask during the heist. Police say Carrothers is also charged in two robberies and a related kidnapping.

Investigators say Carrothers was linked by fingerprints to a robbery in which a woman was forced to drive to a bank and withdraw money.
