Big Boost for Memphis ATP Tennis Event

The Regions-Morgan Keegan Championships and Cellular South Cup is getting a Major Upgrade in status. 

The Annual tournament, held at the Racquet Club of Memphis, is now designated as a Tier 500 event by the ATP..

That's considered among the Premium Tier of Tournaments and guarantees bigger sponsorship, bigger TV coverage, and bigger stars coming to Memphis to compete.

Racquet Club owner Mac Winker says 22-cities world-wide applied for Tier 500 Status..
