LITTLE ROCK (AP) - Under beautiful blue skies, more than 45,000 people participated in the Race for the Cure in downtown Little Rock and North Little Rock today.
Participants walked and ran a 3.1-mile course that included an Arkansas River bridge crossing. The annual fundraiser is held to raise awareness of breast cancer and help those who get the disease.
Every dollar raised stays in Arkansas to support women who need mammograms.
