Family of young boys killed in crash talks

Desoto County deputies arrested a man they say was high on prescription drugs when he killed two young boys.

It has been seven months since 15-year-old Zachary and 12-year-old Jacob Lannom died at the intersection of Airways and Goodman road in Southaven.

Investigators say Larry Setzer hit the car the boys were in, killing them. He's charged with two counts of DUI death and DUI injury.

Thursday night, the Lannom family spoke for the first time. They hope the story of Zachary and Jacob will help keep at least one drunk driver off the road.

Jean Lannom, grandmother of boys says,"If you are going to celebrate say take my keys before I leave here. If you've had anything to drink you are no condition to judge whether or not to drive."

The boys mother was driving the car. She survived but is still going through therapy sessions.

Investigators say all if it could have been avoided if Setzer didn't get behind wheel.
