DSL outage hits AT&T DSL customers in Southeast U.S.

If you weren't able to go online Monday night, you probably weren't alone.

A company spokesman says AT&T customers in the Southeast United States were unable to connect to the Internet through their DSL service for several hours last night because of an equipment problem.

Spokesman Michael Coe says the digital subscriber line service was restored around 10 p.m. (CST). He said the outage affected customers in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky and Tennessee.
