Four minors flee police for alleged gunpoint carjacking

JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - Four juveniles have been arrested after an alleged carjacking at gunpoint.

Jackson police say four juveniles stole a 1999 Geo Tracker belonging to Milton Jones early Thursday morning and drove off. He was later found unharmed along the road.

The juveniles fled police, who used strip spikes to disable the vehicle.

Police say a .20-gauge shotgun was taken from the vehicle, and serial numbers on the weapon show it was stolen in a previous burglary.

The four juveniles are being held at a juvenile detention center and are charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery and theft of property. The oldest suspect is 17.
