Put away those T-K 7 Jerseys...
The Memphis Grizzlies waive Tarence Kinsey Tuesday..
Kinsey, an undrafted Free Agent who earned NBA Rookie of the Month honors in April last season, never could crack the rotation of new Head Coach Marc Iavaroni this year.
Kinsey seldom saw the court, appearing in only 11-games and averaging just 3.6 points and 1-rebound a game.
Kinsey started 12-games last year and filled up the stat sheet, averaging almost 19-points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2-assists on a team that won only 22-games.
Word is the Grizzlies are targeting NBA Developmental League star Jeremy Richardson of Delta State as a replacement.
The 6'7" Richardson leads the D-League in Scoring at 28.5 points per game, just ahead of former Memphis Tiger Darius Washington, and is 5th in minutes played at 41.
