Suspect in trucker stabbing arrested in Connecticut

PLAINFIELD, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut state police say they have arrested a Texas truck driver wanted for a stabbing in Arkansas.

Police say they arrested 55 year-old Nicolas Dominguez Friday and charged him with being a fugitive from justice. They found him at a rest stop on Interstate 395 in Plainfield after his trucking company used GPS to locate him.

Connecticut troopers watched him while the St. Francis County Sheriff Department in Forrest City, Ark., obtained a felony arrest warrant for first-degree battery.

He was arrested without incident and taken to Corrigan Correctional Facility, where he is being held on $500,000 bond. He is due in court Monday.
