Computer glitch sells Liberty Bowl fans seats that don't exist

Section 117. Row 74. Seat 60 is just one of at least four imaginary seats at the Autozone Liberty Bowl.

Durward Dunn came all the way from New Orleans, Louisiana to watch his Mississippi State Bulldogs play at the Liberty Bowl. He paid $50 dollars for the ticket only to find out at game-time there was no such seat.

They got to the game with ten tickets, but only had nine seats.

Dunn said he was one of several fans who had to either squeeze in close or sit in the aisle Saturday.

"We got to know our neighbors very well," Dunn said.

Liberty Bowl spokesperson, Harold Graeter, says it was Ticketmaster's fault. The Liberty Bowl re-numbered the seats back in 2005. Thee seats in Dunn's particular section only go up to 59.

Graeter said it was a computer glitch with Ticketmaster. A problem he is fixing.

Graeter offered to reimburse Dunn for the tickets.

Dunn says he may have considered taking him up on the offer if Mississippi State had lost, but a 10 to 3 victory against Central Florida had him in a good mood.
