Officers take inventory in home of stolen goods

Steven Wesley is charged with Theft of Property of more than $60,000 dollars. But the stolen items found in his home totals much more than that.

Deputies were trying to identify every piece so the items can be returned to the home builders who own them.

Investigators believe the stuff came from new home construction sites in both Tennessee and Mississippi.

"We've got a lot of questions we are talking to him about, trying to figure out the operation or if anyone else is involved.  There could be more arrests in this case," Sheriff's department spokesman Steve Shular said.

Fifteen different construction companies have already claimed much of the stolen merchandise. Ironically, it was discovered after a home builder spotted one of his mailboxes in front of the house.

In total, the stash of stolen supplies could be worth up to a quarter of a million dollars.
