U of M Basketball Intimidating Opponents

The Tigers Basketball team is rolling through its' competition using both Defense and Offense.

The Associated Press Ranks the U of M Hoop Squad 2nd nationally for the 6th straight week..

The Tigers ran roughshod over their last 2 opponents, beating Siena and Pepperdine by a combined 81-points last week..

It's an intimidation factor Tiger Players say they can sense in the competition.

U of M Guard Antonio Anderson says:

"Certain teams, coming out of the lockerroom.. Look at us ...And they're shocked. But, that's good to have that mentality. Coach Cal drilled it into us.. We're not cocky, just very confident."

Fellow Guard Doneal Mack adds this:

"We'll be in the layup line..we see them looking at us. We've got some players who like to talk...and you see them... And sense the fear in their eyes."

The Tigers will try to put the fear in East Carolina in their first Conference USA Game of the Season Wednesday night at FedExForum.
