Grizzlies Lose Heartbreaker in LA

The Memphis Grizzlies have looked pretty defeated during their current 4 game losing streak. Two they were never in and the Sacramento game they blew in the 4th quarter. It was different Sunday night against the Lakers. History was on the Grizzlies side having won 8 of 12 since 2004 against the Lakers.

Mike Miller was feelin it with 27 points in the game. Kobe was hot...goin off for 19 in the first half and all of sudden the Lakers were up 10 at intermission. Bryant finished with 37.  But Pau Gasol, who loves playing the Lakers, kept it close with 21 points and 18 rebounds.

With 7 seconds left, the Grizzlies trailing by a  point, Kyle Lowry drove the bucket for the game winner but couldn't get it to fall.  No foul was called although he appeared to have been fouled twice on the play.  The result though, another Grizzlies loss, falling to the Lakers 100-99.
