4-year-old continues to recover following hit and run

From the left, Antwone Moore looks like any other 4-year-old. From the right, his scarred face tells a unique story.

Thursday morning, Antwone was walking into pre-school at Sharpe Elementary. On the crosswalk, a car hit and dragged him several feet. The car then took off. And the hit-and-run driver is still on the loose.

The child said his face is still what  hurts the most.

After two days in the hospital, he still hurts, but is glad he is home.

And while he is getting better, his family is still struggling.

"It hurts my heart to see him like that," aunt LaTonya Turner said. "I just hope that the person who did this comes forward. At least, just give us an apology. That's all we want, to apologize, let us know you have a heart."

The child's family said they are rattled by Thursday's hit-and-run. However, they are thankful that the 4-year-old wasn't killed or hurt permanently.
