Firefighters in Southaven battled a large fire at a warehouse near the intersection of Airways Boulevard and Airport Road.

The building was the same warehouse hit by a tornado during severe storms last Tuesday.

According to witnesses at the scene, the warehouse was in use by a salvage company.  After the tornado, the building was deemed unsafe.

The warehouse is currently occupied by two tenants- a medical distribution facility and a salvage company that housed ammunition.

Dispatchers warned firefighters to be cautious about racks of ammunition in the warehouse that were apparently close to the flames.

No injuries were reported.

A wall at the warehouse collapsed last Tuesday as severe thunderstorms passed through the region.

Smoke from Tuesday's fire could be seen as far north as Midtown Memphis.
