Candidates prepare for Tuesday primaries

The race for the White House heads to Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia for Tuesday's primaries.

Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama have big leads in every poll.

Hillary Clinton shook up her campaign Monday and came to Washington with a locally tailored message.

Clinton swapped campaign Manager Patty Solis Doyle for Maggie Williams, her former Chief of Staff.

At the University of Maryland, Barack Obama told a big crowd that he would get the republican votes.

Today Republican John McCain was backed by conservative icon Gary Bauer.

His opponent, Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, basked in his wins in Kansas and Louisiana over the weekend.

That primary is winner take all, but all three tomorrow on the democratic side are proportional. So Obama and Clinton's delegates count could remain nearly tied.
