Regina Williams seeks closure in death of her husband

Regina Williams is still grieving. Her husband Janeal died three months ago. Friday, investigators charged Dolly Cox with vehicular homicide in his death.

"Mixed emotions. Friday, I was glad to see something happen. But I still find it hard to be happy because of how and what happened," Williams said.

In mid-November, off duty but on his motorcycle, Janeal Williams and fellow firefighter Eddie Rone were riding I-240.

They stopped and pulled onto the shoulder near the Millbranch exit. Cox's silver Mustang slammed into Williams, killing him instantly. During an afternoon news conference, family friends argued everyone lost someone in that accident.

"A true asset to the community. Gave his time, his talent, his resources, his service as a Memphis Firefighter dedicated to helping serve people," family friend Joseph Kiles said.

Santo Williams lost a brother.

"Just kind of want to get this done justice take it's place," Santo Williams said.

Regina Williams filed a wrongful death civil lawsuit against Dolly Cox. She's seeking monetary damages.
