Hoop History in Tennessee Tigers and Vols #1 and #2 in Both Polls

O.K. Both teams have games to play this week before they meet...but it's on EVERYBODY's minds...including the Pollster..

Memphis and Tennessee are ranked #1 and #2 in both the A.P. And the Coaches' Polls for the first time EVER...setting up the most hyped Hoop Matchup in State History Saturday night at FedExForum..

Previously ranked 4th, the Vols leapfrog both North Carolina and Duke after both A.C.C. Powers lost during the Week...while Kansas also loses...

Tennessee pulls a Houdini of its' own in escaping with a win at Georgia Saturday night 74-to-71.

The Bulldogs miss an open 3 at the buzzer than would've sent the game to overtime.

UT is 23-and-2 on the year. 

Here's the A.P. With a the Tigers Unanimously on top and unbeaten at 25-0..

101 points separate Memphis and UT...

The Vols make the Jump to second,

Followed by North Carolina, Kansas and Duke.
